The VSMP1206 high-precision bulk metal Z-foil resistor combines a high power rating of 300 mW, load life stability of 0.01%, and a low nominal TCR of ±0.5ppm/°C in an industry-standard, SMT package. The use of Z-foil dramatically reduces changes in resistance caused by current variation in power resistors and current-sensing resistors, allowing for much-improved measurement capabilities. Conventional full wrap-around robust terminations ensure safe handling during the manufacturing process and stability during a lifetime of thermal cycles. Resistance range is from 10 Ohm to 30 kOhm with ±0.01% tolerance. The chips measure 3.20x1.57x0.64 mm and are available with lead-free or tin/lead alloy terminals.
