The drivers of the SCALE HVI series are ultra-compact, single-channel drivers for high-voltage IGBTs. These drivers are genuine complete "plug & play" solutions and are fully matched to all standard commercial IGBTs. Users only need to screw the drivers onto the module with three screws. In addition to the protection functions already standard in "intelligent" drivers, such as protection against short circuit, under-voltage turn-off and overload, the active clamping circuit allows better utilisation of expensive power semiconductors in normal operation and protects the components from turn-off over-voltages at short-circuit and over-current cut-offs.
