The A850-SB is a high-performance infrared emitter whose peak wavelength is 850nm. It was designed to be operated at high pulsed current and forward voltage (IFP= 4A maximum, VF= 4.5V maximum, with a duty cycle of 1.0% and a pulse width of 10µs). The 800x800µm chip has a super beam lens that can realise an output power of 0.75mW at IF=200mA and high radiant intensity of IE=Typ.250mW/sr. Other spectra and the customer requirements are available. The LEDs can be used as a light source for various kinds of security systems which need higher radiation.
