The QBK033 series bus converter module is designed for high-power high-density applications. This advanced technology is highly suited to intermediate bus architecture designs in enterprise, data processing, and server and storage applications. They are semi-regulated units that produce an efficiency of 94% and a power density of 18W/cm2 for a 400W unit. Each device has an input voltage range of 36-60VDC and is able to deliver up to 33A of output current. Its nominal output voltage is 12VDC with overall line, load and temperature regulation of only ±5%. The converter can reach a high capacitive load of up to 10,000µF while exhibiting very low output ripple and noise, and responding rapidly to sudden load changes. For example, a 25% load change will only cause a voltage deviation of -2%. The converters employ a full-bridge conversion topology, with synchronous rectification on the secondary and incorporate edge-plating and innovative packaging technology to achieve superior thermal performance. With an industry-standard quarter-brick pin-out of 57.9x36.8x10.6mm, they operate over wide temperature range of -40 to +85°C. It is also fully compliant with the RoHS directive (200/95/EC).
