The M95512 and M24512 use advanced 1.65V, 0.18micron EEPROM process technology and possess densities of 512 kbits in spite of their small and thin package (4.5x3.1mm). The introduction of the TSSOP8 package, combined with a 1.8V operation, enables manufacturers to reduce board space as well as offer slimmer and lighter end-products. These EEPROMs are likely to be used in designs that require a large amount of rapidly changing parameter data, such as video-game systems and electronic toys, digital cameras, car radios, navigation, pagers, set-top boxes, digital cameras, PDAs, MP3 players/recorders and other portable consumer applications. PC servers, printers and portable scanners will also benefit from those drivers, as will medical equipment and communications systems.
