The Quantum Cascade series cover the 4.7 to 12.6µm wavelength range. The lasers, which come mounted on a peltier cooler, are packaged in a TO-8 housing. The user-friendly OEM module allows lasers to be exchanged so that more than one laser can be run with the driver. Further services available include reference gas-cell testing, which for example might include verifying the presence of a line within a gas sample helping the customer to make the right choice of laser wavelength for their spectroscopic analysis.
