The CPFW080X6 operates within an input-voltage range of 36 to 75Vdc, providing multiple, precisely regulated outputs to suit most DSLAM card applications, such as ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL, EoVDSL and SDSL. This modular platform supplies four "digital-type" outputs ranging from 3.3 to 1.2V aimed at powering logic ICs, while the lowest core "digital-type" output voltage is programmable from 1.2 to 1.8V to accommodate different chipset needs from silicon vendors. In addition, the remote sensing for the high current core voltage compensates for application PCB distribution drops. The programmable analogue line driver output can be configured either as balanced bi-polar supplies (i.e. two output voltages), ranging from ±5 to ±12V, or as a single uni-polar output ranging from +10 to +24V. The converter delivers up to 80W total power. The open-frame packaging allows the converter to operate within a wide temperature range of -40 to +70°C without derating.
