With a 805-nm spectral peak, the AL805 series of LEDs can be utilised as the light source for measuring instruments and medical analysers. It can be handled easily compared with existing laser diode solutions. The device has a 5.0-mm diameter and narrow beam angle of ±12 degrees. It offers an output power of 15.0mW, and the hermetically sealed package can be offered with a lens. Multi-chip versions with different wavelengths can be designed to meet specific customer requirements.
