The Morven BCM series of rugged 3-stage cyclic chargers is designed for 12V and 24V lead-acid battery systems. Features include automatic changeover from boost charge to float charge, and an internal diode splitter that allows independent charging of up to three batteries. Protection circuitry guards the units against damage from reversed polarity, over-temperature, over-voltage, under-voltage and over-charging conditions. Three 12V models offer charging currents of 15, 30 or 50A, and four 24V models deliver charging currents of 8, 15, 25 or 50A. Sizes range from 170x155x65mm to 350x220x65mm, and all models operate from an input voltage of 180 to 270VAC. Efficiency is greater than 80% at full load.
