The Oracle III-130 is a 130W AC-DC switch-mode power supply that operates in conjunction with a single backup battery to provide a robust and reliable source of power for mission-critical industrial applications. Available in both 12 and 24V versions, the unit features link-selectable inputvoltage ranges of 90 to 132V or 180 to 264V and is equipped with one main output, one temperature-compensated battery-charger output and two auxiliary outputs. In the event of a mains failure, the backup battery supplies power to the load via an internal diode, thereby ensuring that the output is maintained without interruption. The convection-cooled unit can deliver 130W continuously at the maximum permissible ambient temperature of 55°C. Temperature compensation of the battery-charger circuit extends all the way down to the minimum operating temperature of -25°C. Built-in protection circuitry guards against short-circuit overloads and overvoltages, while an undervoltage-lockout facility prevents damage to the battery when it is fully discharged.
