The CS4352 audio DAC features a built-in line-driver and analogue low-pass filter that directly drive a 2Vrms consumer line level audio output, cutting design complexity in mainstream consumer audio products. These features eliminate the need for an operational amplifier and as many as 10 passive components within system designs. Automatic sample-rate detection further simplifies designs by automatically configuring the CS4352 into the appropriate operational mode. The chip supports a 102dB dynamic range. It uses a multibit Delta-Sigma architecture, operates from a 9 or 12V and is hardware configurable. The IC is pin-compatible with Cirrus Logic's CS4351 DAC, ensuring an easy upgrade path for existing customers, and it features the company's Popguard technology for control of clicks and pops during power cycling. It comes in a 20-pin, lead-free TSSOP package.Cirrus Logic, A4.139
