The SN65MLVD2 and SN65MLVD3 single-channel receivers save space, power consumption and cost in end equipment such as cellular base stations, central office switches, network switches, routers and AdvancedTCA systems. The SN65MLVD2 type-1 M-LVDS receiver provides the best noise margin with switching occurring near the 0V (differential) input level. The SN65MLVD3 type-2 M-LVDS receiver provides built-in failsafe protection and eliminates the need for external pull-up/down resistors. Other key features include clock frequencies up to 125MHz, signaling rates up to 250Mbit/s, and support for 30 to 55Ohm line impedances. The SN65MLVD2 type 1 receives with 25mV of input threshold hysteresis to prevent output ringing. The SN65MLVD3 type 2 receives with 100mV offset threshold to detect open-circuit and idle-bus conditions. The wide receiver common-mode Vin spans from -1 to 3.4V, allowing up to 2V of ground noise. Bus-pin HBM ESD protection exceeds 9kV.
