Designed to operate with input voltages as high as 28V, the XC6216 CMOS LDO regulators are well suited for industrial and other applications where nominal 24V supplies are commonly encountered. In addition, the regulators consume only 5µA in normal operation, falling to 0.1µA in standby mode. The chips are available in a wide range of SMT and PIH packages. Ripple rejection is 40dB typical at 1kHz. The XC6216B and XC6216D (no CE pin) parts can be supplied with output voltages factory set anywhere from 2.0 to 12V in 100mV increments, while the XC6216C regulator allows users to set the output voltage themselves by using external resistors, in a range from 2.0 to 23V. Maximum output current for all versions is typically 200mA.
