Scalable from the ULV Celeron M processor up to the 2.0GHz Pentium M, and provided with 2GB dual channel capable DDR2 RAM, EKF's CCD-CALYPSO is a versatile 4HP/3U (single-size Eurocard) CompactPCI CPU board, designed especially for low power systems.
The DVI-I video interface allows for simultaneous attachment of both, advanced (digital) and legacy displays (D-SUB connector optionally). The CCD-CALYPSO is equipped with two independent PCIe Gigabit Ethernet controllers for high speed communication.
Local expansion interface connectors enable direct attaching of the CCE-PUNK mezzanine card, which provides a PCIe to IEEE 1394 controller and other useful I/O circuitry.
In addition, the mezzanine module can carry a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. With its rich feature set the CCD-CALYPSO is well-suited for a wide range of industrial applications, e.g. vision systems.
