The ACPL-3130, ACPL-J313 and ACNW-3130 gate-drive optocouplers target applications such as isolated IGBT/MOSFET-gate drives. The devices feature a common-mode rejection (CMR) ratio of 40kV/µs at a common-mode voltage (VCM) of 1500V. The CMR is the maximum slew rate of common-mode voltage that can be sustained, keeping the output in the correct logic state. This key specification guarantees the reliable transfer of drive information at a very high DC-link voltage and over fast-switching operations. The optocouplers deliver 2.5A maximum peak output current. Additionally, the products support a wide operating voltage range (15 to 30V).
