The iQor power interface module is designed for applications complying with the ATCA (Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture) specifications. Coupled with a payload DC/DC converter, the small unit delivers a comprehensive solution; only fuses and hold-up capacitors need to be added externally to support the ATCA specifications. The IQ65033QMA10 series is rated at up to 10A of output current and has an input-voltage range of -36 to -75V. Other features include a MOSFET-based input OR-ing of A & B power feeds, hot swap and inrush control with seamless ride-through of input transients, and an EMI filter designed to meet CISPR 22 Class B levels for conducted noise. The module delivers up to 3.6A of 3.3V management power for IPMI and housekeeping functions. A 5V/150mA rail supports the ubiquitous blue LED, and a programmable hold-up capacitor voltage offers an output from 50 to 95V. This value is set by a single external resistor.
