Finder has introduced a compact two pole, 8A relay interface module for safety critical circuits. The 48.12 relay interface module conforms to the EN50205 type B standard and features forcibly guided changeover contacts (1 NO and 1 NC) to enable positive monitoring of switching contact states and large physical separation between adjacent contacts to remove any risk of flashover. The relay interface module helps to minimise panel space and ensure rapid installation. The width of the module is 15.8mm. It provides screw terminal connection and is designed for standard 35mm rail mounting. An eight-way jumper link is provided for common connections. The module features a 0.5W DC sensitive coil and is available in 12 and 24V versions. The wide compatibility signifies better flexibility for circuit designers in a range of plant, process and machinery guarding, emergency stop and critical monitoring applications.
