HBM has launched the Genesis HighSpeed, which is a product line of high-speed data acquisition and transient recording systems. The product family, formerly sold under the ‘LDS Nicolet' brand, enhances HBM test and measurement solutions by expanding the addressed frequency rate and provides a full range of high-end DAQ (data acquisition) instrumentation. The DAQ products are suitable for applications in the high-speed and ultra high-speed area. They provide better measurement technology for structural tests, ballistics, aerospace or electrical tests. These solutions complement the existing HBM portfolio. The company provides customers with full measurement chains and solutions: rugged sensors, transducers, advanced DAQ instrumentation and a software for high-speed data acquisition namely, Perception. This intuitive software complements the company's existing range of data analysis and product durability software.
The product family feature high sampling rates ranging from 100ksamples/s up to 100Msamples/s per channel. Based on modular platforms, all systems can be configured according to the needs of the specific application, be it a single channel or a thousand. The GEN DAQ series comprises a wide range of ruggedised and portable solutions including high-end DAQ and transient recorder platforms, and power and isolation products for high-voltage applications.
