The LT73V thermal sensor, which uses thin-film technology, is available in sizes 0805 and 1206. The device allows for high accuracy in automotive applications at a low cost, says the company. The resistance range is from 51Ohm up to 22kOhm, with tolerances of 2 or 5%. A variety of temperature coefficients are available, from 150 to 4500ppm/k, with a TCR tolerance of down to 10%. Operating temperature ranges from -55 to +155°C. The thermal sensor fully complies with EU and China RoHS requirements and is suitable for wave and reflow soldering.
