Waterproof contactless trackballs are used in the X range by NSI. They use solid-state sensing technology to provide accurate cursor motion at all speeds and on virtually any ball. The trackball design incorporates a removable top ring as standard to allow for easy cleaning, decontamination, sterilisation and maintenance, ensuring continued performance under the harshest of conditions, according to the company. The range is available with a variety of electrical outputs and sealed to IP68. The laser trackballs are available in 13, 19, 25, 38 and 50mm ball sizes. Outputs are quadrature or PS/2 and USB.
