Crystek's CPLL66-3475-3475 PLL/synthesiser operates at 3475MHz with a step size of 2500KHz. The device is housed in a compact 0.6x0.6x0.15inch SMD package, which saves board space.
The PLL/synthesiser's construction wraps a VCO (voltage controlled oscillator)
around a PLL (phase lock loop) in a package. It needs only external frequency reference and supply voltages for the internal PLL and VCO. The device is programmed using a standard three line interface (data, clock and load enable).
Typical phase noise for the PLL/synthesiser is -95dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset with minimum output power of 3dBm. VCO voltage is 5 V DC, PLL voltage is 3V DC. Second harmonic suppression is -15dBc.
The PLL/synthesiser is suitable for use in telecommunications, computers, radio equipment and base stations.
