Crystek's CPLL58-4240-4240 PLL/synthesiser operates at 4240MHz with a step size of 2500KHz. The device is housed in a compact 0.582x0.8x0.15inch SMD package, which saves board space.
The PLL/synthesiser construction wraps a VCO around a PLL. The device needs only an external frequency reference and supply voltages for the internal PLL (phase lock loop) and VCO (voltage controlled oscillator). The device is programmed using a standard three line interface (data, clock and load enable).
It has a phase noise of -95dBc/Hz at 10KHz offset with minimum output power of 3dBm. VCO voltage is 5V DC; PLL voltage is 3V DC. Second harmonic suppression is -15dBc.
