Aluminium enclosures from DEM Manufacturing are claimed to provide the highest possible standard of protection against dust and water and will withstand prolonged immersion in water. They are suitable for systems exposed to the most demanding environmental conditions in marine, industrial, transportation, leisure and food-preparation applications. The Deltron 480 and Deltron 483 enclosures are both rated at IP67 and IP68. The IP67 enclosures will withstand immersion in water to depths of up to 1m for 30min. The IP68 enclosures can handle depths of up to 5m for 1h. All are certified to BS EN60529 1992. Manufactured in aluminium 380 alloy, the 480 series is available in 15 sizes of standard boxes, whilst the 483 series consists of nine sizes of flanged boxes. Sizes range from 60x55x31 to 275x175x66mm. The company claims that this is the largest range available from a UK or European supplier. A selection of ABS, polycarbonate IP65 enclosures is also available. The company provides an in-house machining and finishing service for both low- and high-volume requirements.
