An Atom-based low-power, fanless single-board computer, the Aludra from Eurotech, provides all the benefits of the Atom architecture in a 5.25inch form factor, says the company. It can be for applications within the energy, medical, transportation and industrial-automation industries. Using the Intel N270 1.6GHz processor, the computer delivers Intel x86 compatibility and offers high-resolution graphics, extensive onboard connectivity, and PC/104, PC/104+ and PCIe expandability for 3G and WiFi use. It is available with pre-installed, embedded OS, including Windows XP Embedded and Fedora Linux.
