Vector and TTTech Automotive have announced their partnership to develop and sell standard software modules for electronic control units.
Vector will focus on AUTOSAR basic software modules, while TTTech Automotive will address safety-relevant software modules according to ISO 26262, and FlexRay.
The co-operation will allow the partners to align software development and to jointly work on support and delivery. They will also provide a consistent tool chain for configuring the software.
The resulting integrated software will be used for non-safety-critical AUTOSAR applications as well as for safety-relevant systems compliant with ASIL-D according to ISO-DIS 26262.
The first project will complement Vector's AUTOSAR basic software (MICROSAR) to communicate with a module from TTTech Automotive.
