Analog Devices hosted a Partner Pavillion with demonstrations. Visitors saw the Bluetechnix boards demonstration which used a set of tiny core modules and development boards for prototyping small form factor products. The Danville Signal Processing demonstration had DSP function modules based on the Sharc ADSP-21469 processor. The DSP function modules include a DSP, flash, EEPROM, switching power supplies for the core power supply and optional FPGA for embedded applications. The company was also showing the dspFlash programmer for Blackfin and Sharc processors which can be used to write flash memory on embedded boards. IP Thinking showed the uClinix development kit, the IPT-BF537, which is based on the ADSP-BF537, running the company's operating system with a 6.5inch VGA industrial-grade touch screen and open source software. The development kit can be used for home healthcare terminals, energy metering, consumer and industrial VoIP terminals and vibration control systems. Another company, Super Computing Systems showed the LeanXcam (Linux smart camera) reference design. This intelligent camera is based on the company's Blackfin ADSP-BF537 and combines the sensor chip with embedded network connectivity, a tailored Linux-based operating system, and the image processing framework which is suitable for security and industrial applications.
