Gamatronic's Mega Power Plus Modular UPS is a range of UPS that spans 25 to 250kW. The units are based on the company's Power Plus technology which provides AC/AC efficiency of 96% and halves power supply losses from eight to 4%. It also features online double conversion topology. The parallel redundant UPS system is designed as a hot swappable system for a modular design. The units reduce heat dissipation, saving a significant amount of energy costs per annum, estimated as up to $4,000/100 kVA (80kw) per annum, less running costs, claims the company.
