Vector is now offering the new data recorders GL3000/4000/4200 for both automotive and non-automotive applications. Test engineers can use these devices to acquire bus data from up to eight CAN, eight LIN and two FlexRay channels in parallel. Users can choose to have the logged data read out over WLAN, USB, Ethernet or UMTS. The GL3000 makes it convenient to receive, filter and record CAN and LIN bus messages. In addition, this logger can record internal ECU parameters over CCP/XCP-on-CAN. The GL4000 and GL4200 loggers offer the same functionality plus support for FlexRay and XCP-on-FlexRay. All loggers save receive data from analogue inputs and are easy to operate. The loggers are stand-alone devices for challenging tasks. They exhibit low current consumption in sleep mode, and are well-suited for continuous use in vehicles. They are also operational after a short start time of 40ms.
