Aeroflex says the PXI 3030 cdma2000/1xEV-DO Measurement Suite now supports Revision B (Rev B) of the standard, at no extra cost to current licensees. This  upgrade extends the capabilities of the Aeroflex PXI 3000 Series test system to include fast and cost-effective production testing of mobile handsets, components, and chipsets to the new standard revision. The system with the PXI 3030 Option 102 upgrade for Rev B now performs the full range of parametric measurements on 1xEV-DO Rev B transmitters, including high-speed alignment and performance verification of devices operated in a non-signalling mode. The high speed and throughput for RF test of Rev B mobile handsets and characterisation of RFICs reduces production testing costs.
