Cypress Semiconductor has introduced the 32Mbit and 64Mbit fast asynchronous SRAMs. The high-density devices offer fast response times and small footprint. They target applications such as storage servers, switches and routers, testing equipment, high-end security systems, and military systems. The CY7C1071DV33 32Mbit and CY7C1081DV33 64Mbit devices offer both 16bit and 8bit I/O configuration. The 3V devices offer fast access times of 12ns. The CY7C1071DV33 and CY7C1081DV33 are available in RoHS-compliant 48-BGA packages with a footprint of 8.0x9.5x1.2mm and 8.0x9.5x1.4mm, respectively. The devices are fabricated using the company's high-performance, 90nm C9 CMOS technology.
