A high frequency multi-layer dual low pass filter, the FI168D087018, from Taiyo Yuden is available in the EIA0603 size and measures 1.6x0.8x0.45mm. The filters can be used in place of multiple filers, for each frequency band, in multi-band handsets that can be used at multiple frequency for wide area coverage that are used throughout the world. The filter integrates two frequency band low pass filters to meet increasingly compact phone designs, such as smartphones which must meet multiple wireless communications standards to achieve high speed data transmission.
