Test rental specialist, Livingston, is to stage a seminar looking at the commercial and technical issues arising from the roll out of LTE (long term evolution) mobile networks. The company has teamed up with Anritsu and Ascom, with high level representatives from all three companies giving detailed and informative presentations at the Best Western Reading Moat House, Berkshire, UK on Wednesday 13 October 2010.
Intended for network engineer staff, contract installers, and project managers involved in mobile network rollouts/upgrades, the seminar will present the opportunity for attendees to discuss the implications of this complex next generation mobile communication technology. Among the presentations, there will be an overview of LTE technologies, developments in 4G standards, the LTE physical layer, 3GPP System Architecture Evolution, tools/techniques for cost effective quality of service and quality of experience performance evaluation. There will also be hands-on workshops where the test techniques needed to determine end-to-end network performance will be demonstrated.
