The TRA(B)24/49003(P) Phantom dual-band antenna from Laird Technologies, operates simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 4.9 GHz frequency bands and features both vertical (VPOL) and horizontal polarisation (HPOL). This gives the antenna diversity, frequency agility, low visibility, a wide bandwidth, and a low angle radiation pattern superior to traditional gain antennae in most applications, claims the company. The dual polarisation provides uninterrupted transmissions in urban dips and valleys and rural drop-off areas. An industry standard NMO mounting socket that mates with the company's magnetic, trunk lid, and hole mounts is included. The antenna is an industry standard vehicular cellular antenna solution for public safety, transportation, utility, military mobile, and fixed radio applications.
