With three variations of two-stage filter designs, Schurter's filter series the FMBB NEO allows a specific selection of filter products for enhanced EMI products. Design C attenuates potentially conducted interferences. Design D is laid out for the attenuation of high-frequency interferences, and Design F is for low frequency noise attenuation. All have enhanced insertion loss performance. The filters are 250V AC at a rated current of 1 to 36A according to IEC, and 125/250V AC, 1 to 30A according to UL and CSA. Connection to the filter is by terminals or with bolts and nuts. Optional flexible wire leads are also available. The filter is used in industrial applications such as frequency converters and stepper motors. On request, medical versions with leakage currents of less than 80μA (M80) and less than 5μA (M5) are available.
