TTI is making a push into the transportation market sector.
It has signed a deal at electronica with Delphi, a supplier of connectors and interconnection systems for the transportation market.
"It's a new line which will help us to develop new business," commented Marc Winfield, Regional Vice President Sales - Europe for TTI. "We gained a presence in transportation when we acquired Flightspares in the UK," he added.
Paul Green who was previously Managing Director of Flightspares is now European Industry Marketing Director, Transportation for TTI. Said Green, "We work closely with many transportation component suppliers to deliver the right technical and commercial solution." As a result we are experiencing strong growth especially in sectors such as commercial and off-road vehicles."
He continued, "We have worked very successfully with Delphi in the US for several years and we expect to see that success continue in the major European transportation and other markets."
