Computer Imprintable Label Systems has launched the chemical iIdentification and hazard warning label range for the European Regulation of Classification, Labeling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP Regulation). Designed and printed to any size, shape and colour, the company can incorporate the CLP warning pictograms into label designs, change the design of the existing labels to display the pictograms or provide permanent pre-printed, cover-up pictogram labels with re-labelling and classification requirements. The labels are computer printable, allowing chemical and hazardous substance information to be printed in-house, on-demand using a standard PC and laser or thermal transfer printer, eliminating the risk of illegible, smudged, handwritten data. The 8000/9000 label range provides resistance against harsh industrial conditions including chemicals and solvents, harsh temperatures (-196 to +388°C), oils, grease, abrasion and harsh weathering.
