Schurter has extended current rating of the 250V AC, IEC time-lag sub miniature SMD fuse UMZ 250. This SMD fuse with clip is available in 18 different current ratings from 80mA to 4A. The fuse offers time-lag T characteristic according to IEC 60127-4 and is a universal modular fuse with rated current values from 80mA up to 4A. The approved voltages are 250V AC and 125V DC according to IEC and 277V AC and 250V DC according to UL. The device provides a breaking capacity of up to 200A at rated voltage. The small profile allows fast cycling when used with pick-and-place electronic assemblies. Apart from space-saving designs, one single fuse can be used for primary and secondary over-current protection in power supplies. The target applications are over-current protection for power supplies, storage systems, and wireless base station. It is RoHS compliant and carries all main approvals. It is offered in plastic bags and standard reels.
