Laird Technologies' new SJS515090-16 dual slant 90° sector antenna is specifically designed for WiMAX/broadband wireless applications. The antenna operates in the 5.15 to 5.85GHz with 15.75 to 16.25dBi gain, and a peak gain of 16.75dBi with +45° and -45° polarisation. Low-side lobes and null fill below the horizon results in uniform energy distribution within the coverage area.
The antenna claims to offer uniform cell coverage, resulting in high levels of system performance and ruggedness while maintaining a slim profile with low wind and ice loading. With rugged carrier class construction, two Type N-f connectors at the bottom are provided for easy installation. The antenna is suitable for high multi-path environment, large carrier class deployment, and WiMAX service provider applications.
