Link Microtek offers the Model 2372A-2, a two-way power divider able to operate over microwave frequencies from 500MHz to 2.5GHz. Input power can be up to 250W CW or 2kW peak. Manufactured by Narda, the device can also be used as a non-coherent 125W/signal power combiner. It incorporates proprietary high-power, thin-film resistors for broadband impedance matching; and high isolation between inputs when used as a combiner. The resistors are directly attached to the housing to optimise thermal transfer. The film temperature remains stable throughout the unit's operating temperature range, claims the company. Insertion loss is less than 0.6dB. The divider provides phase and amplitude balance of ±5° and ±0.25dB respectively. VSWR is less than 1.5:1, and isolation is 13dB up to 700MHz, rising to 18dB at 2.5GHz.
