Laird Technologies has announced the expansion of its electromagnetic interference (EMI) Gemini multi-extrusion gasket product line.
The expanded product line includes the Gemini 81 and Gemini 93 EMI shielding gaskets. Both high-performance gaskets combine a reliable environmental silicone elastomer seal with an electrically conductive elastomer. The Gemini 81 includes a silver/aluminum conductive elastomer while the Gemini 93 includes a nickel/graphite conductive elastomer, resulting in a cost-effective EMI shielding product with lower material cost and an improved environmental seal against water, moisture, dust and mildly corrosive atmospheric conditions due to smog.
The shielding gaskets are available in both standard and custom profiles. Adhesive is applicable upon request for ease of installation.
