The fourth Image Sensors Europe (ISE) conference will take place at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, London, UK on Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 March. It will begin with 'Managing noise in digital imaging systems' and 'Image quality: subjective + objective evaluation', workshops led by Albert Theuwissen, Harvest Imaging and Hervé Hornung, DXO Laboratories, respectively. The conference programme's key topics, says IntertechPira Events are the image sensor market analysis, innovations in image sensor technology and system architecture as well as novel developments in image sensor applications and large-area sensors. YOLE Developpement will present market analysis of CMOS image sensor technologies and there will be presentations on trends and developments in CMOS image sensor; image sensors for automotive applications, broadcast cameras, nocturnal vision applications, and trends in astrophotography. On the second day, Omnivision Technologies will present on second generation 65nm BSI CMOS image sensors and other speakers will explore true photon counting with high temporal and spatial resolution. Other topics are advanced ISP applications, native logarithmic image sensing with photodiodes, organic and hybrid photodiodes for active matrix imaging and the megaframe and SPADnet projects. There will also be networking sessions and an exhibition.
