These industrial communication products for PC-based automation are for the transportation, energy management and plant automation sectors and have a rugged, industrial-grade design. The applications can be managed from a central office or a local site. The switches allow users to expand their industrial network quickly and cost-effectively. Advantech has utilised its X-Ring technology within the EKI series which ensures a recovery time of <10ms, increasing the reliability and speed of network infrastructures. The X-Ring technology also provides a redundant ring recovery time of <10ms to secure data communication and reliability. The switches have been designed to support advanced network standards to optimise network performance and security and reduce maintenance costs.
