An interface module from Wago, the 750-652, is configurable as RS485, RS422 or RS232. It can set the transmission rate between 300 and 115200baud. The interface module enables I/O signal data width selection of 48, 24 or 8byte. Configuration is by the company's I/O-Check parameterisation tool and GSD files. The interface module also features a large buffer capable of temporarily storing 2560bytes on the input side and 512bytes on the output side. The large input buffer also allows the I/O module to be used at high baud rates. The module connects devices equipped with RS-485, RS-422 or RS-232 interfaces to the I/O-System which provides connectivity for a selection of devices, for example, HMI panels, SMI interface modules, RFID scanners or printers. An extended temperature variant is available for temperatures from -20 to +60°C.
