Cliff Electronics has introduced a range of LED illuminated rotary encoders with a matching range of translucent control knobs to provide visible indication of panel position or function. Standard LED colours available are blue, green and red. The products fit standard pot and encoder shafts. Customised products are also available. The products provide an output of 24 pulse/24 clicks and feature a 24mm shaft with flats of 15/17.5/20/25/30mm available. Switch contacts are rated at 5V DC/0.5mA and they operate from -40 to +85ºC making them suitable for industrial control applications such as audio, broadcast, industrial control, medical and telecomm equipment and portable devices.
