Emerson Network Power has launched the IPM300 dual-input power module for ATCA (AdvancedTCA) boards. The power module provides board designers with a quarter-brick solution to implement dual-redundant, hot-swap -48V inputs with EMI filtering. It also includes ORing, inrush control and protection, and power management. The power module offers a power solution for various ATCA, telecom, and server and storage applications. It features an input voltage range from -36 to -75V DC, making it suitable for -48 and -60V DC power distribution. It offers 3.3 and 5V DC isolated management power for housekeeping functions and has an auxiliary boost supply for charging hold-up capacitors. The power module has an estimated mean time between failures of more than one million hours and operates from -40 to +85ºC.
