Alpha Micro Components is to distribute EnOcean's wireless sensor modules in the UK and Ireland. By utilising existing energy to power the wireless devices, energy harvesting removes the need for a physical power source which, in turn, has removed the requirement for on-site maintenance. In addition, because the devices communicate via radio frequency, there is no longer the need for costly and complex wiring.
