Meeting noise limits on noise generated from lines not connected to the grid and from MPP (maximum power point) trackers in solar inverters, the FMER SOL filters are by Schurter. They address EMC standards, EN 61000-6-3 and EN55014-1 which put limits on the noise generated from lines not connected to the grid, such as for example the line to the solar panels. The filters are for rated currents from 25 to 1500A at 55°C ambient temperature, and voltages up to 1200V DC. They are designed with screw clamps for types up to 150A and copper bars for types upwards of 250A. Other types of connections, such as wires or copper bars up to 250A, are available on request. Small adjustments can also be made to the electrical circuit or to the filter housing on request.
