IAR Systems has announced that its KickStart Kit for LPC1227 is now available. It includes a development board with an ARM Cortex-M0 based LPC1227 microcontroller, peripherals and connectors, a J-Link Lite debug probe providing SWD (serial wire debug) debugging, software development tools and board support packages for various RTOSes.

Included in the kit is a code size limited version of Embedded Workbench, a set of development tools for building and debugging embedded system applications using assembler, C and C++. It provides an integrated development environment that includes a project manager, editor, build tools and the C-SPY debugger.
