AVX has expanded its low inductance, 2-terminal LGA (land-grid array) ceramic decoupling capacitor series to include tin lead versions for military and aerospace applications. Improving performance by providing low ESL (equivalent series inductance) in low inductance applications, the device is constructed in a simplified, 2-terminal package that provides high frequency performance.
The devices provide a capacitance value of 0.47F, a rated voltage at 6V across -55 to +125°C of operating temperature. Featuring X7R, X5R, X7S, or X6S dielectric formations, they are available in multiple case sizes, including 0204, 0306, and 0805. The devices are suitable for high speed decoupling of military and aerospace CPUs, GPUs (graphics processing units), FPGAs and ASICs (application specific integration circuit).
