AVX has expanded its AR series of radial leaded capacitors to include AEC-Q200 qualified devices in the axial configuration. The Spinguard AA series multi-layer ceramic capacitor meets the electronic component qualification initiative for automotive applications. The capacitors' production part approval process qualification data can be availed upon request. They do not require secondary qualifications at the user sight, thereby reducing time-to-market. The capacitors meet AEC-Q200 level certifications for capacitance values of 0.002, 0.01, and 0.1µF in 50 and 100V. They are available in X7R dielectric and operate from -55 to +125ºC.
